How to Enter:   Two ways to enter:

• Beginning Monday January 4th, log onto the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County website at www.hmhbbroward.org and follow the Contest links to the registration page. Follow the links to the e-mail submission link. Deadline for online submission is 11:59 p.m. on March 19, 2010.  All entries must include your name (parent or guardian ONLY), baby’s first name, address, e-mail address, telephone number, baby’s date of birth, and baby’s entry photo. Entries will be categorized by age; Newborn – 1 Year old, 1 year  old – 2 years old, 2 years old – 3 years old.

• Mail  entries will also be accepted to: Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County c/o: Beautiful Broward Baby Search, PO Box 350446, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33315.  All entries must include your name, address, telephone number, baby’s date of birth, e-mail address and Baby’s entry photo. All mail entries must be received by the close of business on March 19, 2010.  Entries will be categorized by age; Newborn – 1 Year old, 1 year  old – 2 years old, 2 years old – 3 years old.

Valid contest entries must contain all information requested. Incomplete and/or multiple entries will be disqualified.

Babies must be 36 months of age or younger at the time of entry and must be submitted by the child's parent or legal guardian only.   PHOTOS MUST BE OF BABIES ONLY AND NOT CONTAIN OTHER PEOPLE.  HEALTHY MOTHERS, HEALTHY BABIES COALITION OF BROWARD COUNTY WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CROPPING OR ALTERING PHOTOS IN ANY WAY.

Qualifying:

As entries are submitted, all qualified pictures will be posted on the Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County, Inc. website for all visitors to see. This preview period will give parents/legal guardians the opportunity to check that the submitted photo is correctly labeled for the judging period.  If any information is inaccurate, the discrepancy must be made known to Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County, Inc. via e-mail to AMartin@hmhbbroward.org no later than 5pm (EST) on March 19, 2010. 

Judging criteria voters should use for the contest is based on the following:

• Camera friendly nature of the subject
• Originality
• Personality

All Beautiful Broward Baby Search finalists will attend the 18th Annual Mother’s Day Luncheon Celebration at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 on May 7, 2010 as our guest to receive prizes / recognition. The prize(s) that may be awarded to the eligible winner(s) are not transferable, redeemable for cash or exchangeable for any other prize.  If a finalist cannot be contacted or is disqualified for any reason, Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies reserves the right to determine an alternate winner or not to award that winner’s prize, in its sole discretion. 

Publicity:
Use of Personal Information.  By participating, where allowed by law, all participants and winner(s) grant Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County, Inc. exclusive permission to use their names, characters, photographs, voices, and likenesses in connection with promotion of this and other contests and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use.  Except as specifically provided herein, by entering the Beautiful Broward Baby Search, you agree to grant Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County a non-exclusive, irrevocable, royalty-free, sublicenseable and transferable worldwide license to use, re-use, reproduce, transmit, display, distribute, re-distribute, copy, store, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works based upon and publicly perform the contents of the Contest Materials, in whole or in part, in all media, formats and channels now known or hereafter devised, for the duration of the rights in each country, area and space, and throughout the universe, in perpetuity and in all languages, formats and versions. Upon Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County’s request, you agree to assist them in obtaining the consent for any other applications. By participating in the Beautiful Broward Baby Search, where allowed by law, participants agree that the Company may contact participants and use such information for marketing and other purposes. No Personal Information will be sold, or disseminated to a third party.

Eligibility and Limitations:
Employees and Board Members of Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County, Inc, the Contest’s participating sponsors, and members of the immediate family of any such persons are not eligible to participate and win.  The term “immediate family” includes spouses, siblings, parents, children, grandparents, and grandchildren, whether as “in-laws,” or by current or past marriage(s), remarriage(s), adoption, co-habitation or other family extension, and any other persons residing at the same household whether or not related.

Persons excluded from winning the contest, would still be able to submit pictures for addition & display to the online photo album if they wish, but are not eligible to win.
