Who Are The Wings?

 

The Wings Society of Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County is a volunteer membership support group founded by the Agency’s Board of Directors in 2015. The mission of The Wings Society is to serve as advocates for Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies and to support its mission of strengthening families and improving birth outcomes in the underserved community within Broward County through comprehensive programs, education, and access to vital support services.

 

The Wings meet throughout the year and enjoy social activities while providing volunteer services for HMHB events. The Wings Society serves as the planning committee for the annual Mother’s Day Luncheon, which is Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies’ signature event and main fundraiser. Proceeds benefit over 3,000 families and babies in Broward County. This signature event has drawn thousands of businesses and community leaders over the years who support our vision of healthy babies… thriving families… powerful communities.

Our New Structure

We are excited to introduce our revamped Wings Society structure designed to empower you to make a difference in the lives of mothers, babies and families. Our new structure consists of three dynamic levels of participation, but you don’t have to pick just one!

 

Wings of Unity  | Social Events

Unite with like-minded individuals at our social events! These gatherings are the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow members, share experiences, and build a strong support network. Enjoy fun-filled activities at our social events and deepen your sense of community.

 

Wings of Opportunity | Volunteer Opportunities

Get involved and make a meaningful impact! Volunteer your time and skills to support HMHB Events. Whether it's lending a helping hand at The Annual Forget Me Not Memorial Event, participating on a committee for our signature Mother’s Day Luncheon, or wrapping gifts for holiday events your dedication can change lives.

 

Wings of Connection | Ambassador Opportunities
