2021 Year End Campaign

Dear Friends of HMHB of Broward,

Over the past year, generous supporters like you have helped Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies Coalition of Broward County (HMHB of Broward) provide more than 20,000 diapers, distribute over 37,000 Grab and Go meals, and assist 2,500 families with mental health counseling and emergency needs services.

Meet Christine, a scared young mother, suddenly finding herself pregnant and alone when the father of her baby left her. She did not have the financial means to support herself or her baby. Thankfully, Christine received financial assistance and mental health counseling she needed through our Emergency Basic Needs Assistance Program. Today, Christine is a thriving young mom putting herself through nursing school. Her daughter is now a healthy and happy three-year-old who wants to grow up to be a doctor. With your continued support, a mom-to-be in need can have access to free services at HMHB of Broward. There are a hundred more women with stories like Christine’s, each with unique needs HMHB of Broward continues to support with the help of donors like you.

Will you help us reach our goal? We need to raise $20,000 by December 31, 2021 to help more than 200 families in need. HMHB of Broward wants to EDUCATE TO ELEVATE the families we serve, by providing mental health counseling and emergency rental assistance through our Emergency Basic Needs Assistance Program, can be realized.
