Forget Me Not Memorial Fund and 2021 Virtual Event

Every day, hundreds of babies are born in Broward County. Thankfully, most families welcome a healthy, thriving newborn. However, each year hundreds of babies in our county never take their first breath or celebrate their first birthday. The death of a baby is a tragic experience which leaves a family searching for answers and support.

Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies of Broward County has been this source of support for more than 25 years by providing funds for burial/cremation, vital peer counseling and the annual Forget Me Not remembrance event held each October. It is through the generosity of our community that we are able to offer these support services, free of charge to the grieving families. Please help us continue our efforts by contributing to our Forget Me Not Memorial Fund.

• One baby's burial/cremation expenses paid
• Crocheted baby blanket and cap for the family
• Grief materials and peer bereavement support for ten (10) family members
• *Will provide 20 personalized virtual memorial butterflies and messages

PRECIOUS ANGEL- $250

• Grief materials and peer bereavement support for five (5) family members
• *Will provide 10 personalized virtual memorial butterflies and messages

*Legacy Wings: Virtual Butterfly Memorial Garden is a place where a family can honor the life of their baby year-round by creating a personalized butterfly and leaving a message in the virtual memorial garden.
